Western politicians encourage the acceptance
of basic misconceptions about the Third
Universal Theory for very good reasons - from
their point of view of course. The Third Universal
Theory contains everything that exposes the
bankruptcy of Western politics and it is because
of this that every attempt is being made to
prevent the theory from having any impact in
Western countries.
The very intensity of the propagandistic efforts to
discredit the Third Universal Theory, enable us to
gauge the fear which the Green Book provokes
in the minds of the political operators in the
representative political systems. These
operators know that were the Green Book to
become general knowledge amongst Western
peoples, then they might one day find
themselves out of a job.
For the essence of the Third Universal Theory's
approach to the problem of creating a truly
democratic political structure is the belief that
people cannot be "represented", they must
represent themselves in decision-making forums
like Libya's Basic People's Conferences.

The brother leader Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi on 30th August addressed a gathering in Sirte of African and international leaders. Around 300 delegates from around the world as well as African Heads of State participated in the World Mathaba Conference. Among the topics covered in his 87 minute speech were the following:
Opposition to a proposed international criminal court
Opposition to a ban on antipersonnel mines
A call to participants to pull out of the World Bank and create a bank for the Third World
A proposal for a regional summit to end the conflicts in the Great Lakes region
The following are excerpts from his speech, broadcast live by Libyan TV, subheadings inserted editorially:
We congratulate ourselves, us members of the World Mathaba [Arabic: mathaba] for our presence here. I shall try not to be long. This presence at the level of the World Mathaba's general assembly pinpoints a strong will and determination. This will and determination is still strong and proves that we are committed to continue the struggle. We must appreciate and value all these things which give us confidence in ourselves...
All those who are members of this World Mathaba one day realized that they were in one trench and that they were targets of a common enemy who forced them to unite in the World Mathaba. They decided to engage in a collective struggle and, praise be to God, they have come out victorious.
All these dear brothers on my left and my right were one day soldiers fighting in the bush. They were seen as terrorists. Their camps in Libya were seen as camps of terrorism. However, after they came out victorious with their peoples and gained their rights under the sun through their constant struggle, those who had considered them as terrorists had no choice but to recognize them. They were forced to lay red carpets for them, even in Washington...
Before me now there is a list which includes nearly 142 states and political organizations which are under the umbrella of the Mathaba. There are more than 40 new movements such as peace movements, greens, environment and minorities. This means that we represent 75 per cent of the world population. The force which is under the umbrella of the Mathaba belongs to the Third World, which represents 75 per cent of the world's population and which possesses 85 per cent of the world's resources.
Confronting globalization
We are, therefore, a considerable force. In this historical meeting, which is at the highest level of the Mathaba - the Mathaba's General Assembly - we must confirm our presence in the world arena. We must force the United Nations and other regional organizations to recognize us...
The first thing which we must do at this historical meeting is to restructure the Mathaba, which ought to impose itself in the international arena. Nobody can prevent us from that because supremacy today is not that of officialdom, governments, armies and official decisions but that of masses' power. This is the era of the masses and mass organizations which do not recognize borders and officialdom. These are the dominant organizations at the present.
We are the mother and the umbrella of these world organizations. We are capable of helping them. We have proved that when we helped and supported each other in a bitter and hard armed struggle and we were able to change the course of events in the world. We were able to change the world map by transforming colonies into independent states and enslaved peoples into free peoples...
After we restructure the Mathaba and impose our presence in world society - and we must force our presence and be recognized by the United Nations and all international and regional organizations - we will be faced by the task of confronting globalization, not by rejecting and denying it. Globalization is a reality which is imposed by science, the revolution of the communications and the incredible scientific advancement...
No international criminal court
Kofi Annan has sent us a letter and said: I plead you to approve the Rome international criminal court. No, no, no. I have sent him a letter and I shall hand it out to all world leaders. This must be the stance of the whole Mathaba. We can only approve this criminal court of Rome if we impose our conditions, because this court will try us only and will not try them. It is not in our interest, my brother leaders, for anything to proceed from the United Nations as long as the domination is by one single state, because everything will be in its interest...
I can tell you that Libya will never approve this court in the light of the current conditions. Never. Because we are convinced that a CIA director would not be brought to be tried before this court, while he perpetrated crimes such as the assassination of Salvador Allende, Cabral, Lumumba or took part in the liquidation of any other person...
Antipersonnel mines
They are asking at the Millennium Summit for the prohibition of antipersonnel mines. We have to adopt a clear and serious stance about this in the Mathaba. It is known that antipersonnel mines are no good. We in Libya are still suffering from the mines which were planted by the allies when they defeated the axis powers. We cannot approve this agreement or prohibit the manufacturing or use of mines as long as there are atomic, chemical and bacteriological bombs and intercontinental ballistic missiles. They do not speak about these but talk about mines.
The mine which they are talking about is the last and most basic means of defence. The mine does not cross borders; however, the cruise missile, bombs, aircraft, fleets and aircraft carriers cross borders, seas, oceans and continents which get destroyed. These are the ones which must be banned first. Is it just the mine which harms humans? We will produce antipersonnel mines and defend our borders with them because it is the enemy who comes to the mine and not vice-versa. We are not going to send our mines to them. If they come to us on our land, mines must explode under their feet and blow them apart. That will serve them right. Why do they come to a land which is not theirs?
The antipersonnel mine is the most basic and last means of defence and is a defensive not an offensive means. It is used within borders and not outside them. We cannot approve the ban of mines. The last thing we are attached to is to defend ourselves with antipersonnel mines. They said: No, eliminate them. You know that if we approve this, they will later say: Machine-guns are prohibited. They will set up and sign an agreement and anyone who will use a machine-gun will be considered a criminal and they will take it from him... We will eliminate mines, antipersonnel and antivehicle mines, but not now. We will do so when all weapons of mass destruction and offensive weapons are eliminated and they stop manufacturing them, then we will eliminate everything including mines and rifles...
Attack on World Bank
Some of the revolutionary leaders who are here as my guests were obliged to create parties, and you may ask why have Mandela or Mugabe, or any of these other leaders, created a party? They were forced to and told: Either you do that or you will not get any loans from the World Bank. They did it because they felt obliged to and not because they believed in it...
Let us talk about the World Bank, the IMF and the World Trade Organization. These must be ours or we will reject them. If it is a world bank it must then belong to all of us and it should not impose anything on us. But what it does is that it imposes its will on the people. Libya makes a huge contributions to the World Bank and the IMF. Therefore it is our bank. Why should anyone in America, or any other place, or on behalf of Zionism and imperialism, impose their terms on the peoples since the bank is not their bank but is the bank of each one of us?
That is enough. Let us create the Mathaba's bank, the International Bank of the World Mathaba. Let us create a bank. We can create a bank and we will grant loans to one another [applause]. Let all our states withdraw their contributions from the World Bank and put them in this bank. Since the World Bank has become a nightmare and a sword hanging over our heads; and since it imposes humiliating and destructive terms on us; and since it controls the price of our children's bread and controls our food and drink, and also the price of fuel, clothes, food, drink and water, we do not want it, and let America and Zionism stay in it. They are welcome to stay in their bank.
We should withdraw our contributions and create a bank for the Third World and for the forces part of this Mathaba [applause]. We have the support of all the organizations. As I have said the masses of Seattle are with us and are against all these nightmares. All the jobless in Europe, in their millions, are also with us...
Warning to Europe
We must warn Europe against some of the projects which it is currently undertaking, because they will harm Europe and will harm cooperation between us, such as Barcelona and the European-Mediterranean cooperation. They want to take North Africa and annex it to the European Union. This is rejected. Africa does not allow the partition of its territory at all. Whoever wants to cooperate with Africa should cooperate with Africa from its north to its south as one Africa [applause]. But to take Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco and annex them to the European Union, via the Mediterranean, this is tantamount to an aggression on Africa's territorial integrity.
We will not sell Africa in exchange for gains from Europe because if we were to sell our brethren in Africa in exchange for gains we might obtain from Europe that would mean that we are agents and have accepted bribes. That would mean returning the colonies to their colonisers once again. If Europe wants to deal with us we must warn it about this on behalf of the World Mathaba...
Warning to Britain
Zimbabweans never went to Britain to take British land. It is the British who went to Zimbabwe and forcibly took land and killed many people. What is wrong with President Mugabe reclaiming that land now? And the British have an obligation to compensate for the land they took away [applause]. All former colonial masters must be made to pay for their past deeds, there must be an international tribunal to hear cases of compensation for those countries which were colonised [applause].
Summit on DRCongo
I have a proposal to make, and which will be issued by this general historic conference of the World Mathaba for the Defence of Freedom, Peace, Justice and Progress, namely to hold a summit of leaders, only leaders of the Mathaba which includes members who are now unfortunately fighting one another. This summit will include brother President Mugabe, Museveni, Sam Nujoma, Dos Santos of Angola, Kagame, Buyoya, Kabila [talking to an aide] Who else? Tanzania? Burundi? Buyoya of Burundi.
It must also include our brother President Chiluba of Zambia because, to be honest, he made relentless and continuous efforts in this affair. The Central African Republic, led by President Patasse, has suffered a great deal from the war in the Great Lakes because of the efforts resulting from the large numbers who go there from the various sides.
I would like this conference to set up a committee to be chaired by either President Alpha [Konare, of Mali] or Abdoulaye Wade [of Senegal], who are among the wise leaders of West Africa, and who are respected and who have got vitality and are active, praise be to God for that. The membership, out of respect and consideration until the invitation is accepted, could include Ortega, and Louis Farrakhan. We could also add wise men such as Ben Bella and Kaunda. Those who will chair this committee can ultimately choose the members. They will visit these countries to convince them about the summit which will be attended only by us, the leaders of the Mathaba...
This resolution will have to be binding and every member of the Mathaba will be bound by it and anyone who refuses to attend will be denounced. The resolution will be issued by the conference and this committee will take it and convey it to these [leaders]. I believe that when we meet as members of the Mathaba we will understand one another and we will embrace one another and we will resolve the problem [applause]. I take it this means the proposal has been accepted [more applause].
I think our brethren are tired of this problem. Rwanda now wants to reconsider its position and rebuild itself. The same applies to Uganda. Even the conflict between this alliance, I mean Rwanda and Uganda whose troops fought one another in Congo, is escalating. We do not want to see Uganda and Rwanda fighting each other. They were allies yesterday and today they are becoming enemies again...
We do not want just to end the war; we want to see an alliance. This is the revolutionary camp. This is Africa's belly and entrails. You will separate northern Africa from southern Africa if you created this conflict and these problems in the Congo basin, in this region...
Libya has previously offered much material help in the form of money, weapons and training. Now there should be a different kind of support; not a military one, but one concerning economic enterprises, companies, joint ventures and banks. [Applause]
The Mathaba should be backed by funding and investing bodies, besides solidarity and common defence by its members. So nobody will lay a finger on one of its members as long as they adopt a single stance. They will not be able to single us out. We will inevitably triumph, God willing...

 King of Thailand
~ King of Kings ~
This is a special personal homage to the King of Thailand, who
I call the King of Kings. The King of Thailand, King of Kings,
and his Thai People gave refuge to Mathaba during times of
persecution by the enemies of freedom. I know of no other King who is so loved by his people whether Buddhist or Muslim and
who loves his people so much and cares for them. I have
travelled far and wide and do not believe there is any other
King of Kings as the King of Thailand.
Unlike lazy monarchs in other countries who may be more
famous due to their barbarous history and rape and pillage of
their colonies, who continue to meddle in the affairs of
soveriegn nations, who do no productive work and serve no
purpose other than to consume, the King of Thailand, King of
Kings, is always at work among his people of all walks of life,
teaching, counselling, consoling. His charitable works are
outstanding, his life style modest.
His Royal family are an example to the nation and to the world.
Thailand possesses no colonies, nor has Thailand ever been colonised. This in itself is a remarkable fact. His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is the longest serving Thai monarch, since 1946 and even now in 2003.
Today, 5th December 2003, is his 76th birthday. I am proud to
open this permanent dedication and homage page on
Mathaba.Net in gratitude, respect and admiration for His
Majesty King of Thailand and His Wonderful Peaceful Thai
People. It is my intention as soon as I can afford it, to have The
Green Book reprinted with a special footnote in dedication to
the King, for such a True King as the King of Thailand, will
always remain King in a People's Jamahiriya.

King of Kings when this beautiful national anthem is played, it is always a moving moment. The

The "old boy network" of socializing, talking shop, and tapping each
other for favors outside the halls of government made it inevitable
that the & takeover of the media.
can' objectives and lack of congressional oversight, the CIA accomplish their exploits by using every trick in the book (and they know quite a few) that they actually teach in the notorious "School of the Americas", nicknamed the "School of Dictators" and "School of Assassins" by critics. The Association for Responsible Dissent estimates that 6 million people had died by 1987 as a result of CIA covert operations, called an "American Holocaust" by former State Department official William Blum. In 1948, the CIA recreated its covert action wing called the Office of Policy Coordination with Wall Street lawyer Frank Wisner as its first director. Another early elitist who served as Director of the CIA from 1953 to 1961 was Allen Dulles, a senior partner at the Wall Street firm of Sullivan and Cromwell, which represented the Rockefeller empire and other trusts, corporations, and cartels.
Starting in the early days of the Cold War (late 40's), the CIA began a secret project called Operation
Mockingbird, with the intent of buying influence behind the scenes at major media outlets and putting
reporters on the CIA payroll, which has proven to be a stunning ongoing success. The CIA effort to
recruit American news organizations and journalists to become spies and disseminators of propaganda,
was headed up by Frank Wisner, Allen Dulles, Richard Helms, and Philip Graham (publisher of The Washington Post). Wisner had taken Graham under his wing to direct the program code-named Operation Mockingbird and both have presumably committed suicide.
Media assets will eventually include ABC, NBC, CBS, Time, Newsweek, Associated Press, United Press
International (UPI), Reuters, Hearst Newspapers, Scripps-Howard, Copley News Service, etc. and 400
journalists, who have secretly carried out assignments according to documents on file at CIA
headquarters, from intelligence-gathering to serving as go-betweens. The CIA had infiltrated the nation's businesses, media, and universities with tens of thousands of on-call operatives by the 1950's. CIA
Director Dulles had staffed the CIA almost exclusively with Ivy League graduates, especially from Yale
with figures like George Herbert Walker Bush from the "Skull and Crossbones" Society.

Many Americans still insist or persist in believing that we have a free press, while getting most of their
news from state-controlled television, under the misconception that reporters are meant to serve the public. Reporters are paid employees and serve the media owners, who usually cower when challenged
by advertisers or major government figures. Robert Parry reported the first breaking stories about Iran-
Contra for Associated Press that were largely ignored by the press and congress, then moving to
Newsweek he witnessed a retraction of a true story for political reasons. In 'Fooling America: A Talk by
Robert Parry' he said, "The people who succeeded and did well were those who didn't stand up, who
didn't write the big stories, who looked the other way when history was happening in front of them, and
went along either consciously or just by cowardice with the deception of the American people."
Major networks are primarily controlled by giant corporations that are obligated by law, to put the profits of
their investors ahead of all other considerations which are often in conflict with the practice of responsible
journalism. There were around 50 corporations a couple of decades ago, which was considered
monopolistic by many and yet today, these companies have become larger and fewer in number as the
biggest ones absorb their rivals.
This concentration of ownership and power reduces the diversity of media voices, as news falls into the
hands of large conglomerates with holdings in many industries that interferes in newsgathering, because
of conflicts of interest. Mockingbird was an immense financial undertaking with funds flowing from the
CIA largely through the Congress for Cultural Freedom (CCF) founded by Tom Braden with Pat Buchanon
of CNN's Crossfire.
Media corporations share members of the board of directors with a variety of other large corporations
including banks, investment companies, oil companies, health care, pharmaceutical, and technology
companies. Until the 1980's, media systems were generally domestically owned, regulated, and national
in scope. However, pressure from the IMF, World Bank, and US government to deregulate and privatize, the media, , and new technology resulted in a global commercial media system dominated by a small
number of super-powerful transnational media corporations (mostly US based), working to advance the
cause of global markets and the CIA agenda.
The first tier of the nine giant firms that dominate the world are Time Warner/AOL, Disney/ABC, Bertelsmann, Viacom/CBS, Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation/Fox, General Electric/NBC, Sony, Universal/Seagram,Tele-Communications, Inc. or TCI and AT&T. This is just the head of the octopus which has its second and third tier tentacles working together in unison or feigned division. This would include The Washington
Post/Newsweek, The New York Times/Weekly Standard, Tribune Co., US News, Gannett/USA Today, Dow

Media propaganda tactics include blackouts, misdirections, expert opinions to echo the Establishment
line, smears, defining popular opinions, mass entertainment distractions, and Hobson's Choice (the
media presents the so-called conservative and liberal positions).

David Guyatt has written books and many articles including one entitled "Subverting the Media" at www.deepblacklies.co.uk/subverting_the_media.htm. Then there are two articles called "A Timeline
of CIA Atrocities" and "The Origins of the Overclass" by Steve Kangas that are very informative although
from a more liberal perspective. Steve will not be writing anymore articles as he is no longer with us,
having unfortunately met his untimely death that was 'apparently' from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
If you read about him on his web page that is still available, you will see that he did not seem like a person
who was suffering from deep depression. In his memory, please take the time to read what he wrote at
CNN aired "Valley of Death" in June of 1998
&Time magazine (both owned by Time-Warner) ran
a story about a secret mission called Operation Tailwind
and the activities of SOG, Studies and Observations Group,
a secret elite commando unit of the Army's Special Forces that
used lethal nerve gas (sarin), on a mission to Laos designed
to kill American defectors.
Suddenly the network was awash in denials and the story was
hushed up,as usual. Acknowledged use of this gas coming at a time
when the U.S. government was trying to get Saddam to comply with
weapons inspections, was an embarrassment to say the least. What
hypocrisy!

similar weapons, of which some were manufactured in and

Journalists Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward broke the stories on Watergate (late 70's) in
the Washington Post, having gained access to what the CIA was trying to keep from congress
about its program of using journalists at home and abroad, in deliberate propaganda campaigns.
It was later revealed that Woodward was a Naval intelligence briefer to the White House
and knew many insiders including General Alexander Haig. A high-level source told Bernstein,
"One journalist is worth twenty agents."
CFR/Trilateralist Katharine Graham, in a 1988 speech given to senior CIA employees at
Agency headquarters said,
"We live in a dirty and dangerous world.
There are some things the general public does not need to know and shouldn't.
I believe democracy flourishes when the government can take legitimate steps
to keep its secrets and when the press can decide whether to print what it knows."
Maybe that's another reason why folks get the impression that a

Ralph McGehee was a CIA agent for 25 years, mainly in South-East Asia where he witnessed bombing and napalming of villages, which caused him to examine closely what the CIA was really all about. and after a long battle with CIA censors, he published the book "Deadly Deceits" in 1983. Ralph has
been harassed by the CIA and FBI, involving bodily injury, and his CIABASE website was shut down on

it ever been a central intelligence agency but rather the covert action arm of the President's foreign
policy advisors, of which disinformation is a large part of its responsibility and the American people
are the primary target of its lies.
One of the primary reasons John F. Kennedy was assassinated had to do with the fact he dared
to interfere in the framework of power. Kennedy was intent on exercising his ELECTED powers and not allowing them to be usurped by power-crazed individuals in the intelligence community, threatening to "splinter the CIA in a thousand pieces and scatter it to the wind." There were four things that filled the CIA with rage and sealed his fate; JFK fired Allen Dulles, was in the process
of founding a panel to investigate the CIA's numerous crimes, put a damper on the breadth and scope of the CIA, and limited their ability to act under National Security Memoranda 55.
There is such an overwhelming amount of information pertaining to the CIA that it is impossible
to cover it all in one book, much less an article.
Personally, I have come to the conclusion that the media
is not only influenced by the CIA... The media is the CIA. Many Americans think of their supposedly free press as a
watchdog on government, mainly because the press itself
shamelessly promotes that myth.
One of the first tenets for the control of a population is to control
all sources of information the population receives and mostly
because of the pervasive CIA and Operation Mockingbird, the
mainstream American Press is a controlled multi-national
corporate/government megaphone.
They are up to their eyeballs in dirty deeds and there will never be an end to
the corruption that prevails unless the CIA is abolished. Otherwise, the CIA
will just keep on using their tricks of propaganda, stuffed ballot boxes,
purchased elections, extortion, blackmail, drug trafficking, sexual intrigue, kidnapping, beating, torture, intimidation, economic sabotage, false stories
about opponents in the local media, infiltration and disruption of opposing political parties, demolition and evacuation procedures, death squads, and politically motivated assassinations.
The CIA is the epitome of organized crime run amuck!
